The concept

Sense is a portfolio-driven platform that reimagines professional networking for creatives.

Creatives Make Sense

Creatives
Make Sense

Creatives juggle platforms every day.

They burn the midnight oil perfecting portfolios on showcase sites, scroll job boards for opportunities, and chase connections on social feeds that rarely convert. We’ve been there too.

That’s why we created Sense, a portfolio-first space where creatives and clients connect through the work itself.

With swipe-based and double opt-in interactions, creatives can discover peers and potential clients through real project examples, while clients can choose the collaborators who truly resonate with their vision.

By creatives, for creatives. Built for real creative matches, not just freelancing.

Logo. The pink smile.

Placeholder

The iconic smile in the logo was born in our very first team meeting.

As ideas sparked, I noticed something subtle but powerful: a confident smile quietly blooming on every creative’s face as they spoke.

That’s when I knew this is Sense. It stands for friendliness, inclusion, and the joy of creating together.

The pink is also a nod to our co-founder Syukii’s signature outfit. It’s bold, playful, and full of life. A perfect match.

#MakeSense campaign

“Make sense” is something we often say when validating each other’s creative ideas. There’s a special kind of delight when creativity simply makes sense. The #MakeSense campaign slogan carries a double meaning:

Creatives make Sense. Creativity makes sense on Sense.

The proposal included out-of-home ads that highlighted Sense’s inclusivity and relevance across creative disciplines, supported by a social media rollout featuring Instagram stickers and other engagement-focused tools.

A cross-platform #MakeSense challenge would invite users to share everyday creative moments, while selected influencers would showcase how Sense fits into their creative process.

Designing for research outreach

I designed a poster for the Chinese version of the survey and shared it via WeChat Moments, a social feed among friends within China’s most widely used social platform. This helped broaden our reach across the creative community.

Presentation assets

Although this was a university project, I approached the final presentation as the official launch of Sense.

Invitation letters, press passes, the official website, and the pitch deck were created to make sure the audience felt like they were attending a real product debut.

I also designed the final individual report in Sense’s visual style as a way to wrap the project with a cohesive, well-rounded conclusion.

Inspired by our shared learning experience with LEGO® Serious Play in the Creative Entrepreneurship course, I created custom virtual minifigure portraits of each team member using Midjourney and Photoshop. It was a playful way to spark creativity and build a strong team connection from day one.
